Description:
The goal of this course is for you to begin viewing yourself as a leader. First, we will discuss the results of your CliftonStrengths assessments. We will identify how those strengths support you as a source of wisdom and power, allowing you to be more efficient and act with more confidence. It will also give you a new way of communicating to others about your fortes. Then we will take a gentle look at gaps or blind spots.
We will move on to discuss high-level emotional intelligence attributes, noting the connection between those attributes and your CliftonStrengths.
In a similar vein, we will examine the characteristics of stand-out leaders. Drawing upon the Kouzes and Posner five practices of exemplary leaders, we will dive into each practice and self-assess for areas of future development. Again, we will note the connection between those practices and advanced emotional intelligence. Included will be opportunities for peer exchange, self-reflection and a journal provided to document progress.
